This page may take longer to load than my other pages...but the pics are worth it! Who is crazy enough to paint a brand new Yamaha R1? Me that's who!
Here's me on my '99 R1 Yamaha...nice paint from the factory but...it didn't match my helmet! I used the Harlequin Blue/Red to make this R1 stand out from the rest! I did leave some of the factory stickers to keep a factory look with a custom flare! I completed this paint job with multiple coats of clear, then I wet sanded and buffed the clear to a finish that is actually better than the original!
It doesn't really look that different at this angle...
Here you can see the how the light really changes the colors!
Looks Blue and Violet here...
Then at this angle it takes on a Red/Orange to Violet...this paint is too much!!! |
