this picture captures the effect of the harlequin paint...

In order to achive a great finish I shot 3 to 5 coats of clear then wet sanded to remove the high spots of the graphics, then I sprayed another 2 coats of clear, wet sanded with 1500, then 2000 grit paper, then buffed the helmet to a high gloss. 

As you can see a nice helmet does not happen over night, it takes many hours of tedious work, but to me it is worth it to get the one of a kind paint job.
